carspotting.ch – The Point of Focus of Swiss Carspotting
I often wished for a central location where I could find all car events in Switzerland. I also often wanted to have a live upload of a location or event before I left. That’s why I made it my mission to build exactly such a website.
Before carspotting.ch, I had no experience in building websites. Nevertheless, I just gave it a try and threw myself headfirst into this difficult task. In the process, I learned a tremendous amount and experienced a lot of frustration, but also a lot of joy.
After several weeks of work, the first finished product was ready. Of course, a website is never 100% finished, but I was happy with how it looked. I promoted the website for the first time at Auto Zürich 2025, wearing a hoodie with a giant QR code for the website on the back. People asked me about it several times, and I definitely stood out. I will continue to build and promote the website.
